Tools of TAO

The Therapist Assisted Online Tools

The tools can be used together to deliver effective Low Intensity-High Engagement Therapy or independently to augment treatment.

For client education:

  • High production value “Edutainment” modules that are designed to teach, engage, and entertain. The modules address many common client problems from multiple theoretical perspectives and allow clients to work and engage anytime and anyplace.
  • Daily Logs to practice and reinforce skills learned throughout the week. The logs allow clients to work and engage anytime and anyplace.

For client interaction:

Secure HIPAA compliant videoconferencing is imbedded in the TAO platform. This feature allows clients who are unable to be present, access to effective treatment. The video conferencing tool also allows the therapist to share the results of the BHM -20® progress measure.

TAO fosters and supports the continuing therapeutic relationship, enhancing engagement for better outcomes.

For client accountability:

  • Therapist Dashboard allows the clinician access to a summary of client activity in the system. The dashboard is updated in real time helping clients to be accountable for their progress. This feature also allows the review of practice work and the aggregated graph of progress over time.
  • Reminder text messages encourage clients to stay engaged and to complete their work. This is an optional feature.

For client progress Assessment:

CelestHealth BHM-20® progress measure allows the clinician a reliable instrument that can be completed in approximately 90 seconds by a client. The BHM-20® provides a measure of reliable change over 11 scales. The platform requires that the BHM-20® be completed prior to allowing access to the videoconferencing portal and can automatically notify the clinician if the client is at risk.
